Welcome to the Faces of Alzheimers website - where memories are kept alive.
This site started with one face, one life, one story - my Dad's. Since 1994, his memories have slowly been lost to the ravages of Alzheimer's. This site is a small attempt to keep some of those memories, alive. After 11 years fighting the disease, he passed away on April 3rd, 2005. While it was sad to see him go, we can rest assured that he has finally found his peace.
FacesofAlzheimers.org was created not only to remember my dad. It was created to honor and remember all of those who are suffering or suffered from Alzheimer's. So, if you or your loved one is suffering from Alzheimer's or other form of dementia, feel free to send me an email. Please include a picture of your loved one, their story, a memory, or a biography.
You can check those who are honored on this site by checking out the Hall of Names. Ultimately, it is up to you and your family. Consider this an online museum for those people who deserve to be remembered.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact me.
Finally, if you don't want to send in a picture and story, feel free to leave a message in my guest book.
